היום הייתי בסנטר עם אבא שלי והוא התעקש לקנות לי ספר.
הייתי עצבנית, רעבה וחסרת סבלנות, כל מה שרציתי זה לצאת מהחנות. אבל הוא ממש התעקש.
הסתכלתי על כמה ספרים שהיו נראים מעניינים, אבל שום דבר לא ממש תפס אותי.
לבסוף אבא שלי אמר לי "מצאתי!", זה היה ספר השירים של לאונרד כהן.
אני לא חסידה גדולה שלו. אני אוהבת אותו, מאוד מעריכה את המוזיקה שלו, את הלחן, את המילים ואותו,
אבל האמת היא שלא תמיד יש לי סבלנות אליו.
הספיק לי לקרוא 3 משפטים מהשיר הראשון בכדי להבין שאני רוצה את הספר.

Today i went to Dizzingof Center with my dad, he really wanted to buy me a book.
I was really jumpy, hungrey and tired. But he insisted.
I was looking to see if there was somthing for me, but nothing there really caught my eye.
In the end my father came to me and said "I found it". It was a book with all of Leonard Cohen's songs.
The truth is i'm not a big fan of him. I like his music, i appriciate the lyrics and the melody, but i don't have patience for him all of the time.
It was not after the 3 first sentences that i understood that i want that book.
